Below are the minimum initial training requirements for LMUSAR, and some of the
online resources where the training may be completed:
For new team members, copies of any certificates of completion should be sent in with
your team application.
For current team members, copies of any certificates of completion should be sent to
Captain Meiman so they can be placed on file.

- IS-100 - FEMA-EMI or Homeland Security Institute
- IS-200 - FEAM-EMI or Homeland Security Institute

- Basic Medical Training – First Aid, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens OR EMT

- WMD (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical)
